TRACE/TRANSIT is a daily practice from Senior Studio. I chose to take my horoscope each day and to combine it with a photo that I took. The interior of this book is entirely vellum, creating a sense of layering and the connection between days.
Home(loss) was created for Typography II, and our task was to create a book that was personally meaningful. I chose to create a book focused on the loss of my home to a fire in 2022. This piece is separated into three sections; before, during, and after the fire. This book uses risograph and vellum to create a sense of disorientation, and the risograph ink naturally smudges as the reader flips through, which mimics the smoke left after the fire.
Visual Voices was designed to focus on the career and life of two different designers, creating a cohesive system that provides each the same amount of presence in the book.
